English as a Second Language classes are offered at Neill Public Library.
The classes are free. Anyone 18 or older can join. Friendly instructors welcome you.

Students may join at any time, no registration is required.
Free ESL classes will be offered at Neill Public Library Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays beginning Tuesday, August 28th, 2007. Anyone 18 years or older is very welcome. No advanced sign-up is necessary. Washington State University and University of Idaho students who are taking classes to prepare them to teach ESL are also welcome to come to any class to help them learn to teach ESL.
Wednesdays: Conversational English 2:00 – 4:00 (note: effective October 1st, 2007, this class will move to Mondays, 2:00 - 3:00)
Fridays: US Culture and Citizenship 2:00 – 3:00 (note: effective October 1st, 2007, this class will move to Wednesdays, 2:00 - 3:30)
Fridays: Test Of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Preparation 3:00 – 4:00 (note: effective October 1st, 2007, this class will remain on Fridays but move to 2:00 - 3:30)
Rex Dunlap will be teaching these classes. This experienced ESL teacher taught ESL in Viet Nam and began teaching in Pullman last fall. Rex is a kind and patient man who has been especially trained to teach TOFEL and ESL.
For any of these classes, students may pre-register at the library information desk or wait and register on any class day. If you've missed earlier classes, you're still very welcome to come and join.
